Alternative Teknologies (S) Pte Ltd was started in early 1999 to provide ongoing support through sales and technical services to the Underwater and Remote Operated Vehicle sector of the Offshore Oil and Gas industry. Our Principals made the call to move from an MNC to a more personalized regionally active company where the clients were all on the same time zone and could be looked after more personally.

The company consists of John Andrews ( 30 years in the diving and ROV sector ), Mala Andrews ( over 30 years in the Offshore Survey sector ) supported by a technical and administrative team.

We pride ourselves on a 24/7 response to enquiries and a full understanding of what the industry needs in regards to service levels in both the lean and high times.

In 2002 we expanded to open Multitec Pty Ltd in Perth , Western Australia , to give a more personal service to our Australian clients entering a boom in both their Offshore Oil and Gas and the Mining sectors. All of our original Principals and some other important players joined the team and supported the new branch company.

Whilst specializing in ROV Support, our diving and survey background also enables us to respond to related enquiries.

Our clients range from MNCs to small local research groups and each is afforded the same quality service from practical field experience.

The aim is to make Alternative Teknologies and Multitec Pty Ltd are the “One Stop Shops” for Underwater and Remote Location / Hazardous Environment equipment.
